Miss Bay Area 2011, Erin Kay participates in 2011 FUN RUN/WALK  Moody Gardens, Galveston. Erin helped in the children tent playing games and making crafts. Halloween bracelets were the childrens favorite! All proceeds go for free screening mammograms and follow up care for Breast Cancer in Galveston, Tx.

Miss Bay Area 2011, Erin Kay is a guest speaker at a Dinner at the AQUARIUM RESTAURANT in Kemah, Tx.  benefitting The Learning for Life Character Education Programs in Brazoria & Galveston Counties.  Erin provided words of wisdom on the  importance of embracing good character and how it has influenced her career!

‎2nd Annual “Casino for a Cause” in Moody Gardens, Galveston, Texas. This evening benefits the Resource and Crisis Center of Galveston County . Miss Bay Area 2011, Erin Kay & Miss Bay Area Teen 2011, Madison Lee were honored guests at this event helping with the Silent Auction raffle tickets

“I’ve been volunteering at Ronald McDonald House since I was 15. That was when I decided to start a program through my highschool called “Fun with Friends”, which is dedicated to spending time there and working towards creating an enviroment of fun for the kids that are there. It’s such an honor for me to be able to visit as Miss Bay Area, I feel so blessed! This time I was lucky enough to have Hannah join me, along with her Mom, and we had a BLAST!!!”

–”These are from Langham Creek High School’s Mr. Lobo 2011. I had SO much fun judging the pageant and crowning the winner..it was right up my ally! Pictured are the other two judges who helped pick an amazing winner, the next is of the winner (who was so much fun to watch compete), and in the last is one of the officers they had escort me to my car (I felt so special!)!!

“I called my aunt Trina one night and asked if she would let me come read to her 3 and 4 year olds that she teaches. She, of course, was more than willing and boy was it fun! They were the cutest kids EVER and kept me on my toes. They thought I was a real princess and even lifted up my dress to confirm this by my “glass slippers” I was wearing! (Luckily, I thought ahead and wore some heels that were covered in glitter so they looked like Cinderella’s glass slippers!) This is a picture of when they had calmed down enough to sit and listen as I got to read them a story!”

–”This is my cousin Ashley and me on Christmas Eve! My whole family on both sides came over…it was a full house! I am so blessed to have such an amazing and supportive family!”

–”I got the opportunity to speak to Townewest Elementary’s Kindergarten to 3rd grade classes! I spoke about the importance of persistence, how practice makes perfect, and then read a story about penguins to the kindergartners!In the pictures are my cousin Davie and his new wife (they’re teachers at Townewest) and in the other are two of the adorable students I met!”
